What is Special About Us?

Built by architect Horace Porter nearly 60 years ago, Happy Trails is a spacious, L-shaped ranch house constructed of genuine Mexican adobe walls with blue portals and sky blue territorial style roofs.

During the day, you can stroll around the grounds which includes the beginnings of our vineyard.  Or you can lounge under a sycamore tree in the outer courtyard, which looks out across a field of alfalfa and has a magnificent view of the Organ Mountains.

When you want to go exploring, you will discover that while Happy Trails is situated on farm land and surrounded by pecan orchards and cotton fields, it is within walking distance of the Plaza in Old Mesilla for shopping and several fine restaurants for evening dining.
